9/8/11 Heavy hearted, but still hoping for God's intervention

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all doing fine. We are doing the best we can in this crazy economy. We've also been running here and there with family members sick and praying. This year has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. Sadly I know that this is the same story everyone has. This economy is a destroyer of dreams and a crippler of finances.

I pray each day for relief and for God to show favor, but I don't expect favor to be shown on me. We live in this world with all it's trials and strifes. There will be no relief until we go home to our Father in Glory. It hurts though to see so many loved ones sick and also to see my husband who is trying the very best he can to hold onto our home. He is also trying to follow God's call to ministry. With so many churches out there looking for a pastor I am baffled that so few are actively seeking one. My husband's heart is for the Lord and I know he would make a GREAT pastor if he just had half the chance.

My husband works hard and is a good man, he has done all he can. Please, pray for God's wisdom for him; for open doors and if it will be a while before he can fulfill his calling, for him to find another job. Jobs are so hard to come by anymore. Our daughter has been looking for months and still hasn't had a chance at one. Please also pray for my parents, my cousin Shirley, David's step-dad and his uncle Huey. They are all going through life altering health problems. Only God can answer these needs. He is our hope and stay. I ask for one more prayer request. Please pray for our country, it's leaders and it's people. We are all suffering under the strain.
Take care and God bless.

This was in the draft folder of my blog. Sorry it is out of sync with the other post I just placed. It just ended up that way. Please read the other post from this day for the update.
