We went to Mom's to help her gather a few things to bring into their garage. They seem to be doing well although Dad is getting aggravated trying to get his battery powered radio to work....something akin to getting the Christmas lights working for the tree I guess. My brother had come in as well to help them get stuff together.
Teresa and the kids are doing well and another of our friends, Summer is at her Mom's in Robert,Louisiana.
There is another feeder band coming in now. Tornado warnings are getting ready to start in the lower part of the state. Current coordinates are 26.9 N, 87.7 W and 115 mph winds. If you are curious to know where that is in relation to our position we are at about Latitude 30.05 and Longitude 90.69. I may try to post pics online as David is outside trying to take some now. I also took some before pics of our house and the neighbor's houses. While we wait I am cooking chicken jambalaya, red beans and garlic bread slices. So we aren't suffering any. :D
We know who the Master of the storm is and He will be with us through it all, and we will sing His praises at the end of all of this.

This is Mandy. We evacuated to Alabama on Saturday morning--we're staying with Nola and her inlaws in Birmingham.
