For those of you who worry about us, yes we are still here.
Our refrigerator died in December and we had to wait for a new one.
We got our new refrigerator and each time the thing makes the noisy sound of ice falling I say thank you Jesus! I don't want to wait that long for a fridge again. It was almost a month before we got it...yep, all the way through Christmas and New Year's, but we got it and we are up and running again....the leftover queen is back! Here comes Mustgo flambe'.
Well, it's finally happened. Heather is engaged to David Ghere. They got engaged on February 1st....if you want to be technical about it, if not, it was the night before. You see, Heather terrified me at 3am in the morning by pounding on my bedroom door hollering for us to come out quick. I thought something was wrong. I, of course was dead asleep at this hour and woke in a panic wondering what was wrong and trying to find my way quickly through a pitch black bedroom. I opened my door to find Heather's hand in my eyeballs and had to back up to see what she was doing. She wiggled her fingers so her ring would sparkle in the light. Her David was behind her grining sheepishly because she woke up the whole house in her excitement lol. I told them that EVEN THOUGH YOU WOKE ME UP AT 3AM I was very happy for them and then went back to bed shortly after that. The next morning she called everyone she could think of. In my February 2008 pictures folder you can see the ring and also a picture of her sharing her happy news on the phone the next morning lol. Seriously though I am happy for them. David G. will be leaving for Afghanistan one day in the near future so PLEASE keep him in your prayers.
I got my David a puppy for Christmas and she's a hyper cutie that runs 90 to nothing. Once Heather gets married she will be the replacement. It seems we are on the ADHD exchange program lol. The puppy's name is SuzieQ and she's a chihuahua, too cute for her own good (hard to fuss her). I have pics of her in my February album too.
David is doing well on his diet. I am awful proud of him. He was 318 and is now down to 239 since September of last year. His diabetes is under control praise the Lord! He also got a new job which we have been praying for for a long time. He has resumed taking his seminary schooling and has gotten an A on a recent test.
Tiffany is doing fine, she and Chris are going on five months since they started dating. Tiffany is no longer working at Aunt Ellies but that has freed her up for some other activities and she was able to go help my sister-in-law who recently had some surgery. Please pray for my sister-in-law to have a speedy recovery. Tiff is scouting for a new job though. It is hard to believe that she will be 18 this year. Time passes so quickly. She is also looking forward to prom next month. I will post pictures.
Rochelle is getting really talented with her drawings she has several works in progress and has also done some portraits for friends of ours. She has posted some of them on her myspace as well.
As for me, I'm still me, busy as ever, trying to keep up with everyone else. I am looking forward to getting my hands in my garden soon though. I love spring! It is my favorite season... along with fall.
That's about it here. Take care and God bless.
